YoBro is a local clothing brand based in the heart of Cape Town, South Africa. It's inspired by storytelling and giving each clothing item it’s own narrative. A huge focus of YoBro is to break away from fast fashion and celebrating creativity. This is a rebrand project for the apparel company.

Joy From Africa

Joy from Africa to the World is a movement championed by the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town. The ever-evolving campaign offers an invitation to live with compassion and make a change in the world, while supporting local communities, celebrating heritage, discovering places beyond our neighbourhood, exploring creativity and expression, and sharing hope and joy. Awica Studios worked with the movement. specifically Lalela Organisation, to create 5 illustrations surrounding the theme of compassion.

How can one remove the negative stigmas surrounding numbers and turn them into something fun, while bringing a new perspective to numbers, through a interactive website. No limits to the designs this interactive website focuses on numbers as time. We live in society where we have become dependent on the construct of numbers. It has become a meter for success, truth, time and many more variants.Numbers are trusted as our lives revolve around them, such as time. One immediately associates certain days or years with memories worth reliving, nostalgic moments.

Bodies of Water

As global warming on the rise, the scarcity of fresh water has become an alarming question. Bodies of water aims to raise awareness of the scarcity of fresh water in Zurich by exploring the sounds and creatures within the lakes surrounding the city. Giving a voice to the water and it's living creatures. In collaboration with Riva Pinto and X, we created augmented reality posters diving into the body of water known as Zürich Lake.

Creating a complete digital social media campaign for the South African brand Freedom of Movement (FoM) ranging over several social media platforms such as Facebook, Google Adwords, Pinterest, Tiktok, Twitter , Youtube and IOS messenger sticker pack for Freedom of Movement (FOM), a South African lifestyle brand.All the imagery supplied by the Stellenbosch Academy, Photography students, which are to be used in the form of motion graphics. Lastly displayed in a case study video for the client.

Mirjeta Makeup Exquisite, a South African makeup artist, aimed for a new and fresh brand identity for her company. Overall a big redesign including branding, style guide and her website.

Furtune Application

Furtune

This brief aimed to solve an identified problem through creating, designing and prototyping a concept application. The application concept needed to be strong conceptually as well as visually in regards to brand identity and mock-ups.The application is to be implemented through wire-framing, prototyping and in app animation considerations displayed through the user experience and interaction.

The brief aimed to create a logo and brand identity for Cozomo de’ Medic newsletter that encapsulates a modern identity referencing the historic context of the Medici's and the NFT collection of Cozomo de’ Medici.
